The Northern Virginia Mineral Club promotes, educates and encourages interest in geology, mineralogy, lapidary arts and related sciences. The society is a member of Eastern Federation of Mineralogical and Lapidary Societies and American Federation of Mineralogical Societies. We're on Facebook!
Membership
Membership benefits:
- Collecting trips / field trips are for NVMC members only
- Monthly meetings with fun activities such as auctions, presentations, and general socializing

- Learn all about mineral and fossil collecting, lapidary arts and related interests from fellow members

Dues: Due by January 1st of each year; $20.00 Individual, $25.00 Family, and $6.00 Junior (under 16, sponsored by an adult member).
Meetings
Meetings are held on the 1st Monday of each month, at the Dunn Loring Fire Station most months, but sometimes on Zoom. Always double-check the latest newsletter for up-to-date meeting information
Visitors are always welcome at our Club Meetings.
